Well Hello All (if there is anyone out there??)
Its the end of the weekend and as usual it has gone so quickly....
Its been a mental weekend here at the BNM household.
Saturday we had a fantastic 3rd birthday party and BBQ to attend. My friend, bless her is the most organised person ever and as well as the usual party games of pass the parcel we also had drawing on the concrete yard in chalk, papier mache of balloons and the most hilarious game ever - The Chocolate Game.
Well not long after we arrived Car decide to investigate the tub with wallpaper paste in (for the papier mache) and so spent the rest of the sunny afternoon running around in her pull ups!! She then went on to have a minor hissy fit as the chocolate came out for the chocolate game and started to moan until was given some!!!
As evening drew in we had a BBQ which had been lit for several hours at this point. The birthday girls mother and her friend gave us a performance of the Elephant Love Medley from Moulin Rouge which had all us rolling on the floor laughing...
Anyway just as its getting late I walk out into the yard and hear this chilling thud as Car decides to fall smash bang onto the concrete yard. Well panic mode steps in and I go to her who bless her is screaming her heart out. I took her inside and checked her over and apart from a small nose bleed, she was good. 10mins later I'm still shaking and there she is sitting on the floor drawing pictures with the chalk!!
So Saturday over and I had to get up early Sunday morning to pack Bel's suitcase as she is going..gone now, to her grandparents.
So I get up, pack the car, Neb finally surfaces and drives us all to meet them. We have a lovely Sunday lunch with them where Car just eats peas and then Neb puts Bel's stuff into their car.
We then drive home in a very quiet car without the manic talking of a 5yo who asks questions like "Why is it raining, mummy? Is it because you told me its bad luck to whistle on a Sunday and I did, or is it just because of the weather!" and then gets upset when we tell her that man covers have little men in who jump out at you, which she then replies to by saying "No, Mummy the real truth!".
We get home after doing a shop and Neb realises that he has left Bel's shoes and scooter helmet in the car because he hadn't packed it!!!!
So anyway Neb has gone to work, I'm sitting here writing this eating Chilli Hot Pringles which are hot but oooh so tasty, listening to music and wondering what the week ahead will hold.....
PS Car's got a lovely big bruise but apart from that mad as ever
PPS Elephant Love Medley for you all to listen to and imagine two girls singing it!!!
