The itch that never goes away

No, its not the 7 year itch or anything dodgy ....

As you know, the girls seem to have hair that attracts those damned nits.

I seem to be forever buying de nit stuff. But no more, I have found the one, the one which stops them:

Now, its not the nicest feeling thing to put on the kids head, to quote Bel "Why does it feel like glue?" but after getting over that, it goes through their hair nicely. And it doesn't smell bad either.  You then have to leave it on for 15 minutes. Or in our house, put on TV and let girls watch it.
Then you need to apply shampoo to the hair directly, without first wetting it, then rinse with water. Repeat the process, then apply conditioner, rinse and dry. Except it didn't quite go like that. Unfortunately as it is a gel, and as Hedrin contains anti foaming ingredients even after two washes the first night the girls hair was still greasy. As you can imagine, asking the girls to stay still to get their hair washed for any longer would have been torture for them, and me! So, bath again the night after and finally two more washes later it did return to normal. The instructions do say to keep on washing if necessary, so maybe we didn't do it right.
The plus sides to Hedrin Once is that I don't have to sit there with the nit comb, and comb and comb and comb. One comb through to remove the cases and nits and voila done.

And we are still clear, now three weeks later, they are still nit free.

So, if you have a problem with them little bugs in your house why not give it a go. You can buy it at all large pharmacies.
